Hi. I’m a born and raised Metro Detroiter, still living here. I am married with three daughters under the age of 5 1/2. I am a USAF veteran and am a Public Safety Officer (police officer and firefighter). I saw GB at the theatre when I was 12. My little brother was a huge RGB fan as a child. I have fond memories playing GB with him. He had it all, pack/trap/PKE, firehouse and ECTOs, etc. I’m sure I played with all of it as much as he did! I have been quietly attempting to get him re-interested in all things GB again. My kids as of late are also becoming quite the little GB fans.
My boredom and an IPhone have brought me to you. I’ve had a fun time reading through the site and watching YouTube videos. My childhood love of GB has been reignited. I’m no stranger to SA costuming, but at this point I cannot commit to a uniform and equipment (after last time, my wife made me promise no more). I’m quietly contemplating and conspiring. I’m quite interested in finding out who is GBing in the Metro Detroit area. I’ve located a few and have friend requested them. Anyway, I’m glad to finally be an official forum member.
