Driving a Delorean on the Rails in Port Hueneme, Ca

Last weekend myself and group of my closest BTTF friends visited Port Hueneme, Ca. and put a Delorean Time Machine on the tracks.

The Car is owed by Charles B, the Hood box was built my me, and the train wheels were found and modified by me.

This was done in connection with the "We’re going back’ 25th anniversary of BTTF celebration.

A pair of tour buses loaded up with BTTF fans from around the world visited a bunch of the filming locations in the LA area, the last stop on the tour was the Rail Road Crossing from the end of Part III where the Time Machine meet its end with the locomotive.

I just finished editing the Official Video:

Very very cool. Thanks for the video, it was great.

i said it many times and i’ll say it again

. . . .I think my red log just blew

NICE! From just watching that video, I can’t imagine getting her up to 88 mph on tracks.

This is cool as all hell. Big smile on my face just now.

Few more Hood Box photos.

There is STILL not enough love for this. This is the BTTF3 equivalent of driving out of the firehouse. Except it’s better, because the DeLorean drove down the tracks with several hundred people cheering as it went.

Charles, you mentioned peeling out on the rails causing sparks, are there any pictures or video of that?

Indeed. I had goosebumps watching this. Not enough BTTF fans down here, it seems…

Yes, but I’ve been holding those videos until some of the excitement in Port Hueneme dies down, I forwarded the main video to the PD and the city (they asked that I do) so I dont want them to think they let a bunch of goofballs screw around on their tracks.

This is just incredible. I think I dislocated my jaw while watching that. Amazing work.

G4 posted their story on “We’re Going Back” They didn’t mention the car on the tracks but they showed a few clips of it.
