So yeah, I finally signed up. Friends with the GB of New England. FInally getting around to building a proton pack this Fall, got my jumpsuit, boots, assorted stuff this week. So yeah, “hi”, I’m another new guy.
Oh, also have a Stay Puft costume I built. Figured it was easier and cheaper than building a pack … it was a foot in the door. Adding a second fan to him so he stays better inflated, but he’s pretty neat right now, even if a bit flopping (there’s always a learning curve when you have no idea what you’re doing). That little window under his kerchief is where I see out of. He’s about 13-14 tall. Right now he needs to be attached to an extension cord, so I can only walk about 25 feet, but when I figure out a battery system and add the second fan, hopefully he’ll be pretty mobile for short spurts.
