Okay, folks…I have a dye question! I am going to put together a uniform, however, the only pistol belt available to me, that was close to screen color but with black hardware instead of brass, was white. I figured, since it was white, it would be easily dyed to match the on screen belt color. What do y’all suggest? Also, if any of you feel gracious enough to keep me from hours of forum searching, you might post your dye recipe/procedure for the elbow pads and flight suit! I have a TruSpec 27-P Khaki flight suit and standard white women’s volleyball knee pads for the elbow pads. I am currently working on a set of Ecto Goggles based on the Paranorman design, but when they are done, I will be diving into the uniform.
