Hello, I am buying a set of 2 pairs of Martkwort elbow pads, but they are both black, and white I love the color black, I would like to at least have one pair match the color from the movie, how would I go about dyeing these?
You can try some Rit color remover to see if the elastic parts will wash out some of the black. As for the actual pads themselves, if the black won’t wash out or if it washes out too much, I believe a bunch of people have painted their pads gray and I know gray paints like primer will cover just about anything.
I’d say mix up a packet or two of color remover and just let the pads soak and check on them every hour. If after about 3 or 4 hours (i’d personally wait a max of 5) you don’t notice any change I’d consider the paint method. Hope this helps and good luck
