I’ve seen a ton of posts about the lightbars, but I didn’t see anything about the smaller blue floodlights, red spinning light, and chrome siren box. Does anyone know what to search for in order to find these items? I did find the original floodlights for the roof, but they only had clear lenses…couldn’t find blue ones for them.
If anyone can point me in the right direction to track these items down, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to get my '67 Cadi as close to the Ecto-1 as possible.
These are great references and some great links to the manufacturers, but, unfortunately, most don’t still have these available. Federal doesn’t actually manufacture the light or the siren anymore, so the links are kinda useless if you actually want to buy the items.
I was hoping for some links to where we might be able to track the stuff down, not just find out who made them back in the 50’s.
The smaller lights I knew about, just didn’t know where to get the blue lenses; as the link states, they come with clear only.
Guess we’ll all just have to keep searching Ebay hoping to get lucky…
So make the blue lenses yourself. If they only came in clear - then they were made at Sony, which means home-made is Screen-Accurate according to logic, right? (Though I’m probably wrong about this! Hahaha.)
It’s exceedingly hard to track down any actual sellers of these items, if given a link to “Hey this guy has Federal Sirens!” they’ll be gone in less then 10 minutes, and the pages would have to be routinely updated with seller information and members would constantly have to search.
