The Ecto Goggles are getting an August 15th release date.

As you read this, the long-awaited Ghostbusters™ Ecto Goggles are in the final phase of production! To give all you Ghostbusters™ fans who are attending SDCC the chance to check them out for yourselves, the release date has been moved from July 15th to August 15th. Keep an eye on this spot, because we’re going to do first looks soon. (P.S. And any time you want to make sure you’ve got the latest sale information, just click on over to our Sale Schedule page.)

apparently if it sells out in early access were pretty much ■■■■■■ buying them

I can’t imagine the goggles will be gone before the regular sales begin. Especially considering that the forum is divided on them and given the “scare” tactics Matty has used in the past, this is nothing more than Matty trying drum up sales numbers by throwing the fear of a sell out. I’m still not convinced enough to buy them unless they’ve revised them considerably from what we’ve already seen.
