Eds Silly string Proton Pack (Pic Intensive)

Great packs, I love the silly string concept, I’ve seen one in action before and it looks awesome. Way to keep it accurate looking, but also using your imagination on the sticker placement and overall design.

Awesome! I love the gun. The sillystring can holder looks like silencer! Now that is sweet!

Cool! I was planning to make my proton use silly string but I ran out of time.

One thing I can’t find is all the silly string I found so far shots on the side like the paint spray can. I try to look for one that shots on the top but I can not find it in the stores and on the Internet.

So I have to figure out a way to make it work when I make my proton pack use silly string.

The particle thrower..is quite possibly..one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.. I should like to view some plans, perhaps through a PM if you don’t want to post them up? You rule!!!

Im not sure what kind of silly string cans whoyagonnacall11 used but you might want to look for the spiderman webshooter refill cans because they face up like that. Other then the spiderman ones, im not sure i’ve sceen any others facing up. I know there as some sillystring starwars guns but im not sure if they work the same way.

what you want to buy is off of amazon because as far as I know they don’t sell it in stores anymore. It’s the STAR WARS Engery blaster refills. It’s a lever that allows them to fire straight up

The Spiderman ones used to shoot one stream, now they changed the design to fire three and personalyl I found it to jam alot because that was the first one I went with. I definitely recommend the star wars ones. the only catch with both cans is you cannot fire them horizontally you have to have a diagonal degree to them or they’ll clog and release all the pressure with no string.

That’s a good idea… I am planning to make plans on how to make a cheap proton pack using cardboard and foam board. It will only be about 75% accurate to the actual movie proton pack.

The plans I am using is Norms’ plans and I noticed he made some mistakes there so I will make some corrections.

Very nice job indeed. Thank god for imagination! May I ask what power source you used in your sweeper bar light for the powercell?

I recoginize that light. It looks like the one comes from Auto Works store which someone used on their junk pack. I try see if I can find the link… hold on…

yep I picked it up at Advance Auto Parts. It’s an APC Sweeper Lighter , Part # 36.0412B

Make sure you get the brilliant blue one
