hey guys, does anyone know or can take a guess as to what the red button on the side of the lab does? i know the red tab in the back levitates the figure in the front and brings the ghost hands out the front of the screen,
but the the purpose of the red button puzzles me.
any ideas?

I dont know this for a fact but I would imagine it would be there as a necessary part of the lifting mechanism…like a cross member for the lever to be attached to.
Just a guess though.
The red button is the release switch for the levitation action feature. When you lift the lever on the back of the playset (blue portion/red lever) the platform holding the figure rises, pushes the arms out from behind the TV trap door and locks the platform into place. When you push the red button, it releases the spring loaded mechanism and pulls the figure back down to the laying position. Make sense?
