Many moons ago I played the Ghostbusters video game on both the C64 and the NES. Although I enjoyed the C64 version, it was fairly simple and got dull quickly.
HOWEVER…
I recently ran across an “enhanced” remake of the version of the game that came out on the Spectrum system. It’s put out for free downloading, and of course, I did.
I LOVED IT. I HIGHLY recommend it to any and all GBfans out there who want to play a GREAT remake of a most classic game!
:sigh: One word of warning though - you may want to replace the “gbtitle” file. It is a version of the Ghostbusters theme done in a VERY hard rock, screaming style. I didn’t care for it at all. The actual game music is GREAT though and I enjoyed it.
yeah i downloaded this a while back when i heard about it and it was really good to my surprise, i just didn’t expect much from the description of the game
I installed it on my parent’s comp a while ago. My dad and I used to play the hell out of that game on the C64 back in the days of yore (when I wasn’t hacking through hordes of critters in Bard’s Tale at any rate). So he was thrilled to have a “new” game that he could play, since most of today’s games are beyond what he wants.
Another little game that’ll be a permanent part of my computer, at least until I leave WinXP for good. Then I probably won’t be able to get it to run at that point.
There’s also a Ghostbusters II remake as well. This is based off the C64 game, with 3 levels pulled from the movie. two decades later, and I still can’t get past the Van Horne Station. You can find these and more at GOTO88: ?? Slot Gacor Akun Maxwin Slot88 2023 Pragmatic OZZOSLOT.
