I keep hearing people questioning Erin’s sexual orientation. Why? I think she is straight, no evidence of anything else. Holtzmann can be questioned (in fact Kate has said she is not straight) but Erin?
Yeah if anything, Abby and Holtzman give off the vibe of possibly being more than just friends. One of those “It’s not technically in the movie, but it’s there if you want to see it” situations. But no, Erin is pretty obviously smitten with Kevin, and I don’t get any indication that she’s bi.
Agreed! Someone here is even comparing her to a door that “swings both ways” to quote GB1. I just don’t see it and think it’s just seeing what they want to see.
Take it with a grain of salt, because it’s not in the movie itself, but in Ghosts From Our Past there are ex-boyfriends mentioned for Erin and Abby both. (I find specific mention of Erin dating a long-winded philosophy professor named Greg (p.60), and Abby dating someone named Sam (p.95). )
Was it the coordinated handslap/shake? Too much?

Hey, I’m not going to judge. I mean, I don’t think Egon and Ray are lovers, but I do think they’d probably be content just doing science together forever, hehe. 
I got the impression that Holtzman liked Erin. The “fire dance” scene, choosing her to test the first pack, driving off when trying to get in the ecto (deleted scene). Holtzman and Abby acts more like childhood friends.

I don’t think she’s afraid of attention. She did bring a lot of attention during the restaurant scene. She probably just doesn’t know Holtzman is hitting on her.
If Erin is Bi it’s probably because of the “ass kissing” she did to get her place in the college.
