Experience selling your props?

Hey guys!

So, I’m hoping this is the correct thread to post this.

Here’s my story:

I’m graduating college in a couple of months and moving out to CA to be with the love of my life. I’m saving every penny I can for this fall, and I’ve realized that: A) I won’t have the room to move my pack, and B) it’s more important to me to have the money to move to get my real life started. So, I’m looking to sell my pack, my trap, and my uniform, and was wondering who had experience with selling their props on eBay or the classifieds section here? What would you recommend to help sell your props successfully? How did you price yours? I spent ~$400 on materials, parts and tools, not to mention months of labor. The pack and trap have functioning lights and sounds (sounds with the trap), and look freaking sweet.

Well, if it were possible to wait till late September or early October that is when you would get the most for your gear on ebay.

Thanks! I’ll be moving before then, so I’ll be selling it in the next couple of months.
