I was wondering how many GBfans out there were also Farscape freaks?
Haven’t dug though this section of the forum much and I don’t usually bump zombie threads but I’ve got to put my support to Farscape. I’m one of the biggest Scapers you’ll ever find. I’ve met much of the cast, turned a few dozen people on to the show, wrote letters during the campaign and have been working on making props.
If you’ve never seen farscape or only seen a few episodes, do your self a favor and pick up the DVDs. Like any show it takes a while to get going, the first season is fun but it’s the later seasons that are amazing. It’s totally different from any other sci-fi show ever made and is definitely NOT star trek with puppets.
Hey, I like Farscrape alot. How come they got their actors from Stargreat GS-1? What’s up with that? Hahahaha It’s Firefly with muppets. Tee-hee
Oh yeah, me likee Chiana. She’s cute.
Please tell me you’re joking. :sigh:
When farscape was cancelled they joined The SG1 cast not the otherway round
I’m still a fan of this series even today. I’ve been collecting all the comics since they came out.
Same here. I just bought my subscription to the new 12-issue ongoing series yesterday. So glad they’ve finally decided to continue the story even if it’s in a new medium.
Yup! They’re gonna finish the 2 mini series that are currently running then start the new ongoing series.
I find it an entertaining show to watch. Though I havent been able to follow the last few season’s plot descently. I’ve met Gigi Edgley in person though and he was real sweet. And cute I might add.
Yea. She’s really cute out of costume. I think that the actors from this show really need to get into the mainstream more. I know they’ve all been on hit shows over in Australia and New Zeland.
Well Wayne Pygram had a guest spot on Lost.
Well the first Ongoing FarScape comic series started off last week and was pretty much a great continuation from the last mini-series. Love the covers and I can’t wait to see how this comes out.
So he did. He also made a cameo at the end of Star Wars: Episode III.
I am a massive FarScape fan from before the show even aired. I heard about Henson doing a scifi show and I was onboard with that alone. Then I just totally fell for it head over heels.
I even dragged Gareee straight from one panel to another immediately after it in the same room at DragonCon just to see them. They were amazing people and so much fun to watch and listen to. Claudia Black and Virgina Hey are just brilliant!!
I loved their talk at this years Dragoncon, just wish they screened some of the people before they asked questions so they didn’t take 10 minutes professing their love before getting to the point. :sigh:
