yeah you’re right, I should’ve been right on top of that. I guess I must’ve been doing something more important in those FIVE MINUTES.
I was able to grab one, as well. They must not have had a lot of the sets, because, when I bought mine, I had NO trouble getting through the traffic filters. So, if this sold out in 5 minutes, they couldn’t have had a lot.

I wouldn’t have minded multiple Walter Peck figures though!
If I had to bet… I would think the figures would be:
-Winston Zeddemore with Slime Blower
-Peter Venkman with Stream.
-Egon Spengler with PKE Meter.
(And maybe a Walter Peck instead of one of those.).
I think Venkman with stream and Egon with PKE legitimately sold out, hence their not being a part of the cyber Monday sale in November. I’d guess Peck, Slimed Venkman, Labcoat Ray.
So, who else gof one? I find it incredibly hard to swallow that only two people on this whole forum managed to grab a set.
Also, I’m shocked that noone’s mentioned that PKE meters aren’t out of the question, either. It says Ghostbusters items, not figures. And the PKE did stay up for a REALLY long time…

I mean, I want the 6" figures, but, I feel it worth pointing out.
And you’d be crazy to expect Mattel would be doing anything but getting rid of unpopular leftover 6" stock. They are not going to give away a 12" figure ($60 value) for $40 (plus potentially another $120 worth of stuff if two more 12" figures).
They are still a company. They are still trying to make a profit. They will not sell $180 worth of stuff for $40. They will sell $60 for $40 though. That might make their profits very small, but its a tradeoff between having to pay Digital River for storage vs. waiting for the next Thanksgiving sale.
No 12" figures. No PKE Meters. Just 5/6" figures.
Again, I don’t care. I’ve got 2 PKEs, and all of the 12" line so far. My point is, they don’t make any mention of it being specifically 6" figures.
As for the argument that they’d not turn a profit, how much do you think these things cost them? I’d bet good money that the PKEs didn’t cost them more than $20 each, with packaging. At this point, most of this is just junk cluttering their warehouse. They might see it as more profitable to sell it at a loss than to store it.
Keep in mind, too, that the PKE is the only item theyve sold with a shipping restriction on it, as they have on this.
Again, I hope for 6" figures. I’m just not going to assume that’s all that’s a possibility.
