Greets everyone! (^_^)/ I’m EJ, and bustin’ makes me feel good. (OMG, how corny was that?) Anyway, I discovered this site through a friend at work; he might even be a member here, I’ll have to check. I work in the motion picture exhibition industry (someone PLEASE tell the Final Destination people, enough already) and I came here looking for advice/guidance on putting together my first proton pack. I’m in the process of relearning electronics basics and playing with some of the schematics I have found so far. I have a modernized pack design in mind; I’m of the opinion that Igon and Ray would not leave the original design alone for 25+ years given the advances in technology, so I started thinking ‘what would Igon do’? It’s still very much in the early design stages, but it is at least started.
I really like what I’ve seen here so far, and will be back on a regular basis for more guidance and research.
