Hello everyone.I’ve been lurking around here for a little over a year and due to forgetting my user name and password i re-registered today.I just want to say you guys do some awesome props and everyone seems genuinely helpful.I recently picked up a proton pack shell and assorted parts from e-bay(from “loveusmokey”)and i’m eyeing some stuff in the for sale section..I’m planning on trying to replicate some of the outstanding props i’ve seen here(pack,trap,PKE meter,and the holy grail Ecto-1 eventually).I hope you guys can put up with some noob questions as i’ve never done this before.Thanks
well rt, if you have been lurking for a year you should know what and what not to do as a newbie. but as a reminder, remember to use the search function near the top of each page to help answer your questions. people dont mind helping out as long as you’re putting in the effort yourself. im sure you have witnessed examples of this by now. also, the construction plans and reference pages of gbprops.com are still up as of now.
now, on a side note. might i suggest in investing in a dremel. it will be your friend. also, if you get one of those gun hook sets from “loveusmokey”, you may have to do some alterations to it. i just got mine in the mail yesterday and the two components dont fit together like they should. the female part is too narrow for the male part
