Originally it was there as I had originally planned to include rain in the piece… but as it was nearing completion I felt that adding rain would be too cliché, but I liked the overcast look it gave, and kept it (especially as it helps make the orange of the candles stand out and draw the viewer’s eye).

BTW, do music and poetry count as fan art? I have some kick-ass poems about Harry and am working on an instrumental piano version of “Stairway to Heaven”.
