Well, I’ve been on this forum for about a year and a half, and I’m closing in on 350 posts. Maybe it’s time I actually write an introduction for myself!
I live near Fort Worth, Texas and I’ve been a Ghostbusters fan since I was in Kindergarden when a buddy of mine asked me to come over and play with his GB figures and Ecto-1. It wasn’t long before I had a bigger collection than he did. I loved the Real Ghostbusters, and as I grew older, I watched the movies and loved them just the same. I can still remember going to see GBII with my parents when I was about to turn 8.
More recently, I was lucky enough to get to test the video game in the summer of 2008, before all the Activision junk went down. That made me want to finally put together my own uniform and pack, something I’d wanted to do since college. By Halloween 2008, I had my own flightsuit and proton pack. I’m now on my 3rd edition proton pack. This one is made of wood, as opposed to the first two that were foamboard. As most of you are, I’m still constantly on the lookout for more and better things to add to my uniform. I’m also looking for others in the Fort Worth area who would like to put together a small franchise to do some charity type things as GBs, much like the AZ GBs do.
Thanks for checking out my ‘introduction’ about a year and a half late.
