The Ghostbusters have been invited to be at Big Planet Comics in Vienna, Virginia on Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The address is 426 Maple Ave. E., Vienna, Virginia 22180. The hours are from 11 am to 1 pm.
They have lots of activities and signings planned for that day. Maybe a few GBs will have to autograph a comic or two.
Please post to let me know if you can make it. Fifthrate, I’d love to see you bring the Ecto MCU to this event.
I am interested, just have to get off weekend work schedule.
Things look good for May 5th. Barring unforseen events this should be a go.
Great. The store manager said that an Ecto shows up, then get there by 10:45 am to get a parking spot out front.

All still looks good for Saturday. My car now has an external speaker and I’ll be piping tunes from it while we’re there.
That is so cool. Do you have both soundtracks to play on Saturday?
I was planning to just do a geek playlist. Not just Ghostbusters but if you have both soundtracks on an iPod or MP3 Player I can certainly play them.
I don’t have either soundtrack anymore. I know, it’s pitiful of me. Just play what you want and you’ll keep the crowd entertained.

It was my pleasure. Sorry about the wonky sound. That was the first field test of the external speaker.
The sound worked fine. The guys at the store really enjoyed having us there. They felt kind of bad about not having water/drinks for us with it being so hot outside.
Did Vemon make it to 1:00 pm? He had to be dying in that all black suit and ski mask in the heat.
