The bottom cable?
It’s connected to the drone trap remote. It’s there when Callie is piloting the drone during the sewer dragon chase and again when Podcast is sat in the Ectomobile at the climax trying to trap Garraka. Ray doesn’t have anything plugged into his goggles for the brief time he wears them on-screen though.

Well, here’s my prototype. Made to unscrew as well. Just need to glue it on.
Is the antenae the only change for the afterlife googles.? I haven’t found much reference material.
