The Matty Goggles are so expensive I hadn’t even looked at that. This does require drilling and gluing, so would be a permanent change to the goggles. I will have to look into that (but it may be a while!).
The Matty goggles have buttons on both sides, the eye pieces are quite a bit different in size then spirits, you also have the projector to worry about screwing into. The spirit seem like a good choice just because they’re cheap and common.
This is a great kit! I got mine super quick but didn’t get to work on it until yesterday. It took the better part of the afternoon but I was working with a set of Spirit goggles straight out of the box so the bulk of time was spent painting before I could actually get to the kit itself. If your goggles are already re-painted (or, if you can stand it, leaving it as is) you can get this together in a snap!
I will dirty these up some more and get them looking rougher but here’s what I got so far.
Once you feel better. I’m down for this upgrade for the goggles and also the Solid Brass Replica Banjos for Spirit Halloween Ghostbusters Proton Pack Wand.
