Hi! I have a foam rubber proton kit cast up and ready to ship. These can be assembled very quickly and easily using simple superglue and acrylic paints. IDEAL for busy bars and parties this halloween!
The kit comes with everything shown below which includes:-
Rubber skinned foam pack shell
Rubber skinned foam thrower
Aluminium motherboard
Rubber skinned foam bumper (cast from a screen used bumper)
That is incredible! Time to start saving up my £'s for another crazy project.
BTW, how does the pack shell mount to the motherboard? Also, how is the gun reinforced to keep it’s shape? Any chance of a foam or rubber HGA to go with it?
ouch. $775 is way out of my price range. I was hoping these foam packs (I thought you originally “advertised” them as “stunt packs”) would be closer to $200-300, guess I wont be getting one.
Sadly the high price of rubber and foam means these kits have to be a little higher priced than I originaly estimated them to be. I may try one without the ruber skin and see how that comes out. If it turns out ok that option will be cheaper but of course quality will suffer.
All in all though I dont consider $700 alot for what is essentially a full pack.
These came out amazing, this is what a GB2 stunt pack would’ve looked like if the original GB prop builders gave a damn about quality lol. If I had the cash available I would jump on this immediately. An entire pack for $7-800 is an amazing price, and the benefit of these not weighing you down all day is priceless.
Prop designed for rough scenes and seconds to a few minutes of screen time, the prop guys did good enough job back in the day.
The only thing holding me back from instantly saying “wrap one up for me” is that in two weeks time I’m leaving my current job, with no certainty as to how long I’ll be out of work.
Wow, that is awesome! This has to be one of the first complete pack kits out there. It looks beautiful. Are you going to do a build thread? Whats the thrower look like? Great Job Nick.
Thanks guys! The second more rubber arrives this week ill update the photo with one of the full complete kit :). I may also be able to get the price down a little, just got weigh up a few options.
If there was any give on that high price I would love one of these as an alt pack to take out to parties and places where I would be scared to take a real pack lol.
