These are Hat Light related upgrades for the Hasbro Neutrona Wand, both the 1984 and the Spengler versions of the wands.
- Milky White Hat Light upgrade
No internal filing/grinding/drilling needed! Just a simple pop-in replacement of the existing plastic lens cover for the light next to the Clippard R-701-ish part on the Hasbro wand.
Included in this kit:
a) a Milky White Hat light with metal base sourced from the original manufacturer (as authentic as you can get!)
b) dual color 3D printed part with internal threading to match the real Hat Light’s metal base threads
c) a white LED - only needed if you want to replace the amber LED that is on the wand’s existing circuit board.
If you want to replace the LED, a few simple solders will be needed!
Easy install (without changing the LED). Just open up the wand body, remove the screw holding the small circuit board and lift the board, remove the existing lens held in with a single screw, install the new lens holder and secure with the same screw that was holding in the previous lens, then reinstall the small circuit board and secure with the single screw. Now close up the wand body and you are done!

Since wands may be glued shut, this install does require some cutting and grinding. The existing switch is also soldered in place, so two simple solders are needed to replace that switch with a proper switch.
