GA Ghosthead (near Atlanta) needed!!!

Hey guys, I live in Norcross and I’m trying to find someone who lives nearby (like at least within an hours drive) that can help me out in making modifications to my proton pack.

The pack is fairly basic and I have yet to add the wires, knobs, lights, etc, mostly because I’m a moron and I just don’t have the experience in doing this stuff, lol. I feel like I’m going to screw something up (drill too big a hole, break it, set it on fire, and so on) if I try it on my own, so it would be great if someone could show me what to do, and/or be gracious enough to make the modifications.

I would of course purchase everything else I need on here or elsewhere to have everything ready to be applied, and drive to you. Given that, I would hope as a fellow Ghosthead your help would be an act of charity  , however we can discuss this in more detail if you do this regularly and charge for your service.

Please keep in mind that I have asked the guy who sold the pack to me what I need to do, and he was very thorough in his directions, but I just don’t feel I’d be able to do it. Plus I don’t think I even have the tools required anyways, so this is a request for an in-person meet, not advice on what to do.

Sooooo, no one at all? Not even one semi-local person in GA is willing to help? That’s rather disappointing.

I would volunteer but I’m just not that good at the propbuilding thing and would probably screw it up worse than you. I’ll talk to Hal though and see if he’d be willing to come up sometime, maybe we could all hit that firestation joint as we’re starting to plan the stuff for DragonCon now too.

Thanks! Just so long as my request doesn’t inconvenience anyone. You said come up: come up from where?

Im in Macon and he’s in Warner Robins…but like I said we wanna check out that restaurant anyway we’ll just have to figure out when to do it.

I would give a hand, but I’m down in Savannah. A little bit of a haul.
