There is a demo coming. Several sources including AJ have stated that. It’s coming either end of this month of beginning of next… Someone even mentioned June 8th. Just because you cannot download it illegally does not mean it doesn’t exist or will not come. It could also mean that these guys have their stuff together and aren’t letting it slip out early.
Atari have said there will be a demo. Don’t remember when exactly since it was so long ago but I’m sure a demo release has been confirmed for some time.
Time for 1 tiny gripe. I don’t like the way the streams run into other GB’s in the game and they don’t respond to it. I know there is one scene with Peter yelping after getting zapped but I think it happens where they do not react alot more often than they are letting on. Also the guy doing the preview is sooo monotone that I think he might be half asleep. The footage is awesome and Ray makes up for the guys lack luster tone. The game is gonna be great though!

I think because the proton stream is such a long range weapon that if it really did any damage to the guys when you hit them it would make game play too difficult. Also, it could depend on your difficulty setting. Maybe on easy it doesn’t hurt the others when you hit them but on hard it knocks them out and on medium it hurts them a bit.
Also I agree that it’s a little repetitive with the hit him with boson darts, especially since he says that on the street level as well.
The infamous demo will be on the playstation store this week , thats another game sony seem to really be pushing so i dont really think they will put a GB demo on the store this week as they probably want to give it as much publicity as possible without conflicting with one of the ps3 exclusives.
