I’ve read their is a rumor that Sony has a publisher for the game, but it will be a ps3 exclusive. Some one needs to see if this is a rumor or if it is fact.
It’s not going to sell very well if that’s the case.
I wouldn’t be buying a PS3 just for the game if that would be the case.
Doesn’t really matter to me since I have a PS3. 
I want to say this is unlikely considering they made a Wii and PS2 version, but I don’t know. This would be a bad idea.
At this point if its not an official announcement, I just dont care. More than likely (and I can not stress this enough) this is a rumor made up by people tired of the slow news week.
This would not make sense financially, and would be an absolute PR nightmare to explain the sudden cancellation of the wii version.Not to mention the money loss there. Sony may be finicky about what they do with the franchise, but they are not stupid. This game will be multiplatform. That is how they will make the largest return on their investment, and that at the end of the day is the bottom line. This is also the same reasoning that made sure the game was just delayed, and not outright canceled. The want a return on their franchise.
Everyone relax, until we have an announcement. Then depending on the announcement, we can light the torches, and gear up our pitchforks. : )

Sony owns the James Bond series, which is platform neutral. (Nintendo/ EA/ Activision)
Sony owns the Stuart Little series, which is platform neutral. (Activision)
Sony owns the Spider-Man series, which is platform neural. (Activison)
Sony owns a lot of movie properties, but has no problem with letting them go to other platforms because they know that they can get money from selling the license to another publisher to develop the game (typically Activision) and then make even more money off the royalties on the individual game sales on 3 or 4 platforms.
Why risk your own money on a property that may fail? This way Sony makes money regardless as to if the game fails or succeeds. Why risk your money on a blockbuster hit and have it limited to only your platform? Missed opportunity is never a good thing.
Game developers have been more and more vocal about this recently. They say that either a one console future is coming or the age of console-exclusives is coming to an end. Game development is far too expensive and risky to limit yourself to one system’s audience.
I have a PS3, so I would be set if this happens, but I certainly hope it doesn’t. That would be a really stupid move. I am sure they would lose a lot of potential buys if they did that. Heck, by having multiple formats, some people will probably buy more than one copy. By going with just one platform, that kills that chance already. I certainly hope this isn’t true.
I also have to agree that I am kind of sick of all of the non-news we keep hearing. I want some resolution on this, but I want something official, not just a bunch of rumors. The rumors just get frustrating.
The only way I see this as possible is if Sony decides to publish it internally.Even though I’m a die hard Sony guy,I still think this would be a bad idea.The more exposure it can get,the better the odds we ,as fans,get more new stuff in the future.
That’s another good point. I really want this game to do extremely well so it can perhaps lead to a resurgance of the franchise. I am hoping we can get all sorts of new stuff as result, and maybe even more video games.
The Wii version is likely to be the biggest seller. It would be financial suicide to cancel it. In fact, if any version were to be cancelled (which they aren’t), it would most likely be the PS3, since it’s the version that probably cost the most to make and will have the smallest return on investment.
The game is being made FOR the PS3, then ported to 360 and PC.
Was going to say the same myself. And don’t forget Sony hold the franchise rights. I’m sure that if it was only to come out on one platform then it would be the PS3, they’d make sure of it!

Wii will sale the most, followed by Xbox 360 and then PS3. I would expect the sales gap between Wii and 360 to be much larger then the gap between 360 and PS3.

Not bad. About what can be expected from a game like this. Better than a typical movie based game (such as the recent Iron man game). Right on par with the Lego Star Wars games. Lower than a major blockbuster (Halo, GTA, Mario, ect.)
i would think that if sony decided to get a publisher for it, they would def open it up to the other systems and get more profit. thats def. something that sony would do.
I heard a rumor from my cousin’s brother’s girlfriend’s friend’s cousin who works security at the San Diego Convention Center that people should probably stop spreading rumors until something’s officially announced.

Yep, that would be a bad idea to make it a Sony exclusive…however, i’ve been thinking of buying a ps3 just for the blue ray, so i’d probably just go ahead and buy one prior to the exclusive release of the game.
It would be nice if we could get an official announcement of the “real” release date sometime soon.
