GB of Southern California Team RGB Hybrid Pack Builds

Never know what we might show next

This is more than awesome!!

So much awesome.

Good job guys

DAMN Joe - nice work. So so so cool. Can’t wait to see it lit up.

Wow… thats is amazing!!1 That pack looks great guys!! Question - How did you fill in the space the N-filter use to be?

Cardboard, fiberglass, and bondo. It’s a pretty simple patch. The sanding and smoothing is the tough part.

That looks… surprisingly awesome!

Thanks AJ. That has been our reaction as well.

ahhhhh it’s alright I guess…

 Dude that vent on the mobo is super awesome.

Carry on

I am SWOONIN’ over this thing. Hoo nelly! Great work! This is one of the best themed packs I’ve ever seen.

Don’t forget, we’ve made 4 of these babies!

I had some time to goof around with my RGB pack this afternoon so I took a stab at the next cartoon addition to our theme packs.

A pack mounted trap!

The traps we will be using are based on Stefan’s plans but have been modified a little bit to suit this build. All of the plating was custom cut from styrene and all the knobs and resistors are real.

As an homage to the old toy packs we all loved we added this little touch to the mobos.

Finally today, a shot of me wearing the pack after a hard days work on it.

Hopefully next time I will have a trap pedal finished and attached.

There’s the trap! So frickin’ epic!!!

Custom ghost traps…attached…to the left side of the packs!!! This must be a wish-granting thread! In that case, I hope there will be a video of the 4 packs in action…complete with Real Ghostbusters soundtracks and SFX!

All…in due time

Wow, this look fantastic! Brilliant translation of RGB design elements into the tech of the movies!

So awesome.

Thanks guys. The pics from yesterday are in real time so I am caught up. If Dono or Scott do some work on their packs maybe we can get them to post up some build pics.

::bows:: im not worthy! Im not worthy!
