GB 2 as we all know has yet to be released on bluray, I was wondering if the reason might be that Sony is waiting for a possible greenlight on GB3. Free publicity in other words. When GB3 is announced to to go into production they simultaneously announce GB2 for bluray and you’ve got your free publicity.
seems like a long shot since its still in the talks stage but cant rule anything out yet
Maybe they’re actually puting together some *“bonus features” *in the darn thing! It would be about time. I want commentaries, deleted scenes, artwork, and equipment videos. Slimer Mode on GB bluray is tight, and so is the rebuilt Ecto featurette. But most of the rest of the stuff was already on the dvd… and no, two episodes of RGB doesn’t constitute as special features in my book. It constitutes as lack of love and effort.
Though I’m doubtful. I understand why one would assume they are waiting to release GB2 for a GB3 announcment only because they did that with the game, adding game featurettes and whatnot. I just think they’re actually getting bonus’ together.
I certainly hope they’re putting together a nice big selection of bonus material together for GB2 on dvd/blu. Though I can understand why you’re doubtful about the GB3/GB2 announcement thing, I was just wondering aloud and thought that may be a viable option that Sony is kicking around.
Anyway, I wonder when they’ll get around to actually releasing GB2?
Oh yeah I completely agree. It is a viable option. But without any kind of announcement yet it probably isn’t an option until things get green lit. Who knows how long it’ll take for things to get rollin’ with GB3. We can only hope.
Perhaps they’re gonna put a “restoring the Ecto-1A” feature in there, that’d be neat!
Hahaha! It would be cool if they interviewed some of the people who sculpted the ghosts and put together (or built) the props. Cast interviews etc. I wouldn’t mind watching Dan talk about script changes and actual paranormal science behind some of the influences of the scenes.
Please let this get released soon. PLEASE.
^ I know, the wait on this is absurd.
SONY® - if you’re reading this, please give us those deleted scenes, we’re begging you. Commentary and other goodies would be nice as well, but mostly the former.
Sincerely,
S. Svenson
P.S. - Did I mention you look great in that new skirt? It really accentuates your features. Have you lost weight?
