Hello,

I drive back and forth to work every day seeing this vehicle. I sent a few shots to the webmaster never thinking I would need/open an account here. Yet curiosity is getting to me. This baby sits in a alley about 300m from the beach. According to the owner it’s out of GB2 and was bought/sold in California before being brought over. He claims to have the paperwork from Sony stating he bought it. It was driving years ago to cruise nights and stuff then suddenly it was gone. I only noticed it due to its got a new job and drive a different route. Okay so how can i upload pics here?

Almost positive he’s referring to this car.

It’s a replica of a Cadillac, if that makes sense. No connection to the production of any of the movies, purely fan-made.

If that’s the one he’s talking about, that’s Hawaii’s first Ecto. It was made by a Hawaii Ghostbuster named Clifford. It was a different model Cadillac with 59 parts. It was sold to some guy who just let it rot away. Clifford has since built a new Ecto.

It’s definitely a fan replica, rather than the real deal, and looking in quite a sorry state.

WOW! hallelujah!! Finally, some HD photos of the labels. Yes, that Instagram page is mine! Restoration will hopefully start this summer!
