Does anyone on here know what happened to the paintings from GB2? I saw where someone has made a sort of poster or something of Vigo, but I just finished watchin GB2 again, and started wondering what happened to the one of the Guys that appeared in Vigo’s place.
Anyone know or have a copy/pic of it?
I’ve wondered about that as well , but havn’t heard anything about it
I remember somebody, somewhere telling a story about being in a prop house in Southern California and looking down one of the isles and seeing the Vigo painting… I don’t remember who told the story though, I don’t even remember what site I read it on.
i read it too…they also said they saw the slime blowers in there too…man i wish i knew where i read that
The ‘after’ portrait for when Vigo wa defeated was hung on the walls of (I Believe) Planet Hollywood, London.
Reports indicate it has been moved since.
The Planet Hollywood in New York (I believe) has the original Proton Packs from Ghostbusters (I’m not sure which movie), the original uniforms, and a couple of replica proton packs.
That’s pretty much correct.
Planet Hollywood in New York featured four of the original uniforms from the second movie (Sans tubes), supposedly three Proton Packs (One Stunt) from Ghostbusters II and a replica, all in a large display case near the ‘back’ of the restaurant.
There was also… a possible replica of Slimer, and I think a GBII era Ghost Trap.
Apparently these days, all that’s left is Slimer (The apparently being I can’t confirm that Slimer’s still there or not).
My Dad and Sister were in New York in October of 2005. Two of the places I told them they HAD to go and take pictures was the Firehouse and PlanetHollywood. Unfortunetly, at the time, I didn’t know the Ghostbusters display had been replaced with some ■■■■ from Maid in Manhatten. But, Slimer was still there at that point. That’s been over a year ago now, so I can’t confirm he’s still there.

What do you mean “depending on the movie”? Let’s look at her track record, shall we? Gigli…Maid in Manhattan…2 of her most ‘famous’ movies. They both suck more than Clay Aken at a Village People concert! :lol:

She was a lot better, and seemed more attractive in Money Train.
As far as I know.. most of the big stuff is no longer at any Planet Hollywoods.
And most of the PH’s have closed down.
I think the bigger Vigo painting is in the Sony Archives.
That was me, it WAS hung high up on the walls of the Sony Prop House in Marina Del Rey, CA - but it, along with the remaining bits and pieces of the packs, and equipment that were still in the prop house were crated up and sent over to the Sony Archives sometime around 2004-ish.
My observations upon first viewing? It’s a lot smaller than I thought it would be in real life. 8)
No mention of the painting with Conan O’Brian at ILM?
