gbfans.com electronic wandkit - replace ventlight ?

hi guys

ive got my gbfans wandkit and think the ventlight is not bright enough :frowning:

“vent light max” is switched on…

now i would like to replace the led with a brighter led or clear led.

does anybody knows which LED i can use for this ? how many mA or watt ?

i wont destroy the kit :smiley:

i know that i can use a 100mA LED for the AUX connection. but not for the ventlight connection…

You could always try finding a reflector for your gun kit. That’s the route I’ll be going as many other builds have used that method.

Agreed. Putting a small flashlight reflector just under the vent and then gluing the vent light into the reflector will make it significantly brighter.

A dollarstore flashlight will easily be adaptable! And you can get it on the cheap!

Even with the reflector it’s never going to be strong enough…I think the problem is the milkiness of the LED, if it was clear and ultra bright…The reflector would then send enough light through for the effect to more illuminated.

Then get a clear ultrabright LED- they sell those individually at places like Radio Shack or ONLINE!
