I’ve purchased a pack blaster and am completely unable to get any sound out of it. I’ve hooked up the pack light kit from the shop to the pack blaster, and plugged the power cell/cyclotron lights into the pack blaster as well. Both the light kit and the power cell/cyclotron lights work perfectly. They’re definitely working together and being connected in the pack blaster. However, the speaker isn’t spitting out any audio at all. I’ve played with the speaker volume knob while holding the fire button, no sound. I used a multimeter and am not getting any sort of power out of the speaker section. Any ideas as to what may have happened? One thing I did notice too is the red LED on the pack blaster is not turning on. I tried running power into that separately from the battery, and still no audio.
Careful with how you have it wired. I see a lot of wires running about, if any of them were hot you could damage the board. You should also make a better connection to the speaker, than just hanging the wires there.
One test you can do is to hook up an aux input into the board to try and play some music through the speaker to see if it is the amplifier or the sound chip which is bad.
I talked with a couple guys at work and they’re wondering what you’re using to power the board. Are you using the blue brick or some other 9v/12v source?
