We just got these new Aluminum Proton Gun knobs in from our manufacutrer! These are easily the most inexpensive fully machined aluminum knobs you will find! They are only $10 each, with the side discs being $20.
I must admit that back when the prototype picture came out, I was going to pass on these, especially as the prototype of front knob looked quite off… but seeing the photos above changed my mind, and I’ve actually ordered two sets… one for my new aluminium Proton Gun, and one for a secret project.
Are the “Side Discs” a solid piece of machined metal, or are they crank knobs (meaning the smaller discs are machined separately and attached to the larger discs via a pin, separate from the bolt that attaches the Side Disc to the gun body)?
AJ has posted in the main knob topic that the small side knob, also known simply as a shaft collar, is unlikely to be produced. However, there are retailers on this forum who have manufactured the shaft collar and list it amongst the other machined metal elements on their respective sites and marketplace topics.
