I’d like some add ons for the boardgame, but just the 5 things I need the most are already more than I paid for the basic retail game.
With all the maybes I get easily to double retail price and that is before any shipping cost is added. So it all depends on shipping cost right now, because it may be cheaper to buy a more complete MH on ebay.
There is a shipping calculator in the shopping cart. Add the items to your cart and then click on “Estimate Shipping”. I can’t tell you how much shipping is since that is based on what you put in your cart.
These are all add-ons that cost approximately 3 times the cost of the plain board game, you can look them up on the Kickstarter page to see them all. We’re not over inflating the cost intentionally for you, we’re just trying to make back our considerable investment in the Kickstarter project.

Was thinking the new playable characters, the 2 Baddie Packs, the 2 new floortiles sets, the spectral Ghostbusters and the spawns of Cathulhu. Just a few essentials that make the game feel more complete.
But with the estimated shipping it adds up to almost double the base game and still has less content than the Paranormal pledge. The cheapest and slowest shipping is still almost $40! That’s ridiculous. I’ve seen full boardgames, with a lot more weight ship internationally from the US for as low as $15. Then add customs duty/import tax onto that and I’m almost at $200 for just a handfull of figures and cardboard tiles. That kinda kills it for me.
Might be cheaper for me to buy an overpriced full MH from a local seller.
Again, your prices are a great and I would’ve bought a lot of stuff if I were an US citizen!
But the shipping and handling pretty much kills it for anyone outside the US.
Yes, but the shipping calculator tells me $35 for the stuff I counted on my last post, when I see some shops shipping complete games like Arkham Horror to Germany for $15. That’s $155 with shipping and I have to pay 19% import taxes on top of that. That’s $185 for 23 plastic figures and 8 cardboard pieces. I could get 3 different complete games for that price, so it simply doesn’t work out for me. Too bad, I would have liked to play with more than the basic stuff.

I’ll keep an open eye for people selling complete games inside my borders. I may check the shop again if I can find absolutely nothing in my area, but it’ll be my last resort.
Some shops over inflate their prices and then offer flat rate or free shipping. We set a fair price and charge the actual shipping rate. That’s it.
Take for example the GB Board Game. It weighs 3lbs 10oz. By the time I package it with bubble wrap in a box it weighs just over 4lbs. The cheapest method for shipping is USPS Priority Mail. Lots of people would say, why can’t you ship it First Class? First Class International has a weight limit of 4lbs. You cannot ship it cheaper. Now since it is actually over 4lbs, I have to round up to the nearest pound. So a 5lb box to Germany or pretty much any where in the world is going to cost a minimum of $50. Yes. $50.
The only way you can get a better shipping rate is if you are a company like Amazon that has contracts with UPS and FedEx to ship items for pennies on the dollar. One of the reasons why small shops like GBFans cannot win out against big retailers.
I ordered the Spectral Ghostbusters set, and initially the ship date listed December 1st. Now it lists December 23rd. I assume the updated date is correct, but is there a delay if I wanted to order an additional add on in a separate order?
I checked your order and it actually had the original ship date as December 30, 2015.
So it is slowly moving its way ahead as we ship out other orders.

Hi. Sorry if this has been asked already. I didn’t find anything about it on forum search. Does the standard ghost bundle from the shop come with the scenario card?
No character or scenario cards with the standard ghost bundle. I don’t see any cards that would go along with those, and since they are the standard ghosts, all their character cards and scenarios are included with the base board game set.
So the Kickstarter Add-On Campaign , Scenario #4: One of Each card doesn’t come with the Standard Ghost Bundle? I thought it did, but I guess I was wrong. Also wanted to let you know that one of the Galloping Ghouls that came with the Standard Ghost Bundle I just received from GBFans Shop arrived with an arm broken off. No big deal as I can fix it if I can’t get a replacement from CZE or SN.
These items arrived to us in bulk. So if a specific card was supposed to go with whichever set, I’m not sure which ones would go where (other than the obvious cards). It is possible if you ordered from the Kickstarter and selected the individual add-ons you may have received extra cards, but in our case we didn’t get extras.
Let me know about the damaged figure. All figures were undamaged when sent, so damage would have occurred in the mail. If you selected Priority Mail, your shipment was insured for $50.
