Since I moved up north, the temps are far lower than I am used to. So I am VERY thankful for the coats in the new movie.
Now I am NOT dropping $2000 on a jacket, so I am modding one myself.

The patches are from Katarra8’s ebay store.
I am having to hand sew everything, cause this is NOT gonna fit in my sewing machine.
I know I still got a lot more to do, but I am gonna take my time doing this. Dont wanna rush anything.

Used the hood for donor fabric to make belt loops.

Nope. There is a black web belt around the waist. Why I added the belt loops.

On the real and screen used coat, there is black webbing on the top right (left if looking at coat) pocket. Has loops to out pens and stuff on it. I added it to mine as well.
The black pistol belt sites just over the top of the bottom 2 pockets
The real Wuxly jacket has black retroreflective stripes at the very top but im pretty sure the costume dept have covered it in black webbing as well.

Yup! From what I can tell it was covered with more black wedding like I used.
Oh for sure, otherwise they would have had major issues filming.
Added a few more details including a wide back belt loop to help support the belt.

I made the little front window pocket, but didnt like the outcome. So it had to go.
Ok…Finally stopped being lazy and added the black to the back of the coat as well
