As Halloween approaches I find myself in a situation. I have all the components built, but how to you join them together? SO far I have the Ion arm reinforced and bolted into the EDA, and the HGA bolted into the Gear box. How do you get everything connected so they are one piece? I have lights I need to string. I guess I can attach them directly to the MB but I think there was a better way to do it.
lights are better used in housings, like[list] a cone from a flashlight or wired into a small box of some sort, and glued right up on the lens. as far as access to all of this, just cut small holes in your motherboard, or hell, even build a hinged door in the back, like i did last year. build the inside to last, and you wont have to take it apart very often.
I actually used lots of wall tak to attach my lights to their cyclotron. My other parts are screwed into my plywood motherboard. if your mboard is metal, drill holes into it and use nuts and bolts with 90degree brackets if you have to.
