Ghost Grenades?

What are Ghost Grenades? What are they from? I’ve seen them at proptopia.com but no one told me what they were.

I belive they are just fan creations… although iirc there were Ghost Grenades in the PS2 game ‘Ghost Hunter’.

I liked that game, it was kinda fun.

I believ there was something like a ghost grenade in the RGB sereis as well, for one episode or so anyway.

i remember them from the Extreme Ghostbusters episode “Apocalyptic Future”, the people in the future used them to ward off the ghosts, since they didnt have any proton packs.

Ghost Grenades I don’t know about.

But, Ghost Bombs were used by Ray in the RGB episode with the Boogieman.

The “ghost grenades” I know of are a fan creation. I think Guyver was the first to make them, but I wouldn’t swear to it. I made a couple for my girlfriend this Halloween. They’re the tubes on her belt with yellow caution stripes.

Nope…that’d be THIS guy.

A quick method for construction:

Parts needed

  • PVC Pipe, cut to 4.5"

  • 2 washer that fit over the opening to the PVC pipe (size depends on the diameter of your pipe)

  • 2 slightly smaller washers to go on top of that

  • A screw with an “eye” (you know, the ones you usually put a latch through)

  • 2 regular ol’ screws (for each bomb)*

  • Black & yellow paint

Construction

Using your duty belt as a template, mark two black dots in the middle of the PVC length through the holes in the belt. Using a drill bit that matches your screws, drill those two holes. Drill another hole that matches the size of your eyed-screw halfway around to the opposite side of the PVC length, near the top (not in the middle); this “eye,” once screwed in, will look like the pin to your grenade.

Next, paint the PVC lengths (I went with the classic black/yellow stripes). Once the paint is dry, put a strong glue around the edge of the pipe, and glue down the larger of the two washers. Flip and repeat. Each side should look like this:

When that’s all dried, screw the “pin” (the eyed-screw) into its hole. That’s it…there’s your ghost grenade! You can then screw the grenade onto the belt using the two screws into the two holes you’ve already drilled, putting them through the holes in the duty belt. That’ll attach them nice and tight. Here’s a pic:

As you can see, she’s wearing the belt as a bandolier; of course, they can also be worn in the traditional belt fashion. And yay for free Wings tix!

*Note: Obviously, screwing the bombs to the belt makes them static…I recommend this, as you probably won’t be throwing them around anyway.

Where did your girlfriend get her outfit??? It looks cool and mine want to have one like that.
