I ordered the Polar Lights edition from a toy store in New York, it arrived on Friday and I painted it and put it together! only cost 11 dollars
shipping and handling was extra, but it was SO worth it! this is my favorite car. Please Comment.

Thats awesome dude! What store was it?
Why aren’t the car’s police lights painted blue?
I didn’t have any blue paint sadly, but I will paint it blue when I get it, its not glued together its a snap together model kit luckily
how the hell would you go about painting those? By diluting the paint with water?
Thanks for the link btw.
very very nice . For your car’s police lights you can try a paint for windows, it’s an acrylic paint (if my memorie is good) i used this paint for a vader’s belt of a friend.
I was thinking about painting the stuff under the clear plastic blue. ![]()
someone should make a facebook group for GBFANS
You can get model paints that leave a transparent finish, it’s what I used for my own Polar Lights Ecto-1.
fyi tamiya paints offers various colors in transparent versions. I did a P/L Ecto 1 kit and i did the blue ‘lights’ using their clear blue if you have a hobby store that carries Tamiya paints you can order it it is code X-23 they also have others which are perfect for doing the Ecto 1A
X-24 clear yellow
X-25 clear green
X-26 clear orange
X-27 clear red
you can also order them from tamiya too here
