Ghostbusters at Uptown Theater in Minneapolis

Alright Minnesotans! This August 1st, there will be a presentation of “Ghostbusters” at the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis, and the Minnesota Ghostbusters will be there! We should be there around 11 pm, with the main event at midnight. Those able to make it will be able to see the Ecto-01, as well as a few Ghostbusters, including myself!

Sure to be a treat, so don’t miss it! Hope to see you there!

Just to remind everyone, tonight is the big screening! We hope to see you there!

(Sure to be a fun time with a couple surprises  )

I’ll be there.

I had a lot of fun last night.

The best part was when the film slowed down during “I LOVE THIS TOWN” and it sounded like Winston was possessed.. and then ofcourse the film caught on fire. That was good.

I forgot my camera but I will have a few pictures that my GF took tomorrow.

A long overdue update.

It was a blast! Alongside our Ecto was Ghostbustin’ 911’s Ecto-1C, as well as a DeLorean time machine; let’s face it, it’s hardly an 80’s bash without a little McFly! There was a great turnout, especially for a midnight show. I’ll be posting pictures up as soon as we get the SD card from our photographer.

Meeting AJ was great, and I agree with him: The best part of the movie was when Winston gives his final exclamation, and the film slows down, only to melt before our eyes. What a bittersweet/perfect way to end it all!

NOW…if we can get them to promote GB2, since it is the 20th anniversary, I think it’s safe to say we’ll be parking on the sidewalk again.

Well, we FINALLY got the rest of the pictures from the Uptown Midnight premiere, so enjoy!

They got our group’s name wrong (Minnesota Ghostbusters/Ghostbusters of Minnesota):

This lady was DRUNK and making out with everyone. Literally…anyone she could find:

A BIG special thanks to AJ for showing up and letting us help promote the site:

Unfortunately, a bunch of the best shots had to be thrown out since they are way too low of light, and being that it was a crowded area, we missed out on a ton of huge shots. But overall, we had a blast, and we hope they’ll do it again!!

Looks great. What all did you do in the auditorium?

The auditorium is actually the Historic theater. We were outside a bit longer than we wanted to be, and we missed Ghostbustin’ 911’s screentime, where they showed trailers for their series. We made it inside right as Alice was being attacked, so atleast we got to watch the whole movie!

After the movie burned up, the four of us climbed onto the “stage” area in front of the screen and did some posings…just for fun.

sounds like alot of fun!
