Ghostbuster's Firehouse attraction in Great Yarmouth (UK)

Hey guys,

Whilst I understand the majority of you guys will not have a clue what i’m talking about I figure there is a slim chance some of you will remember.

When I was younger I used to go on family holidays to Great Yarmouth (a seaside town in the UK), I remember they had a ‘Ghostbusters Firehouse’ attraction which from what I can remember had a helicopter simulator in and various other possibly animatronic attractions inside. Apart from that the only part I remember is running out scared, possibly from the animatronic/moving stuff.

Now what I’m asking is if anybody can remember this? If you do, can you remember what was actually inside and do you have any pictures or information about it? I’ve tried Googling this but couldn’t even find any information let alone any pictures.

So I raided my parent’s photoalbums and found this picture circa 1991/92

Yeah i remember going there all the time in the summer as a kid last time i went was in the mid 90’s now i’m sure inside was all sorts of GB stuff plus a game where you had to (shoot ghost) with a lower grade of proton gun…i could be wrong but i’m sure thats what was inside :whatever: thanks for bringing back some old memories :wink:

I remember seeing one of these in Niagara Falls a few years back as well! :cool:
