Ghostbusters Games that are old. But new to me?

Today I have been looking around. Was in the EGB forums, saw Tristan’s post on the XGB games.

So I looked it up on youtube.

Now I knew about those games, and also the NES and Apple one. Which where the same generally.

Also the old GB2 style one for the computer.

What I didn’t know is there was a game for Sega: Genesis, and an old Arcade game’ BASED OFFF THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS CARTOON!!

Both of which look half decent.

I am sorry if these have been posted before.

But they are worth a look IMO.

Think of it as a delayed build up, to the newest Ghostbuster game.

Which I love… Althought the glitches are meh…

was playing today, teamate dies, and he running around all gimp like.

So I rezzed him… Was still weird..

The Real Ghostbusters Arcade game-

And the Sega Ghostbusters game.

Really just finding out of these, and I wish I knew of them, back when everyone wanted Nintendo.

The arcade game looks super fun.

Which is suprising for a past ghostbuster game…

I am posting these as I havn’t seen them listed on Wiki, and have looked on here, and found nothing.

So… Yah.

I remember having seen the arcade game once only, when I’d gone to Wildwood, NJ.. it was in an arcade on the boardwalk.. must have been in 87/88.. I wish they’d have had it where I lived, because my uncle worked at the local arcade and always snuck me a copy of the key so I could open up the machines and give myself free games :smiley:

well it came out in 87, which would mean I was 6, but I went to Wildwood in the summer and don’t think my mom would have gone to an arcade with me THAT young, so it must have been in 88 when I was 7.. I’ve always wanted to play it again since.. I think it’s time to find a ROM and MAME :stuck_out_tongue:

I still need to get me a copy of the genesis version.. It wasn’t that bad :3

CPU64, haha, I never knew about it untill a few days ago.

I should try and get ahold of it.

Looks better then the NES game, thats for sure.

Ah. Ghostbusters for Sega Genesis.. I used to play it till my fingers hurt when I was little

That wasn’t uncommon. The genesis and its awful D-pad with 8 sharp corners..

Another reason why I liked the snes more.

Sega Genesis version was the best one next to the 2009 game of course

Oh man, I’ve never seen these! The genesis one looks pretty cool, I think it’s time to find that one and give it a try.
