… any Irish GB fans about on the board?
Well im from N.Ireland so i think i count? ;o)
yep, another irish ghost head here..
Putting lights into my Irish pack at moment.
Got to meet Ernie Hudson last May in London.. He signed my Gb1&2 Boxset - “Hey Peter, who you gonna call in Ireland?”

OCP_Model-001: Of course! You can be both and Irish and British counted over here if you wish. Down with that sort of thing here. ![]()
**murphman: ** That is INCREDIBLE!!! I was trying to get a mate of mine (one of the biggest geeks I know, bigger then me even) over to Collectormania to check it out but he dissed the whole notion of a convention… never mind meeting the man who played his favourite Ghostbuster!
Unbelievable. Maybe Ernie will be back someday. Did you wear your costume at any point? It’s amazing to thing there’s prop builders over here. (I hope to get into someday, it seems it can be initially relatively cheap if one wants). Fan culture seems a relatively alien notion over here. I hope to attend my first con, that is Dublin City Comic Con this November!
Haven’t got into gear yet.. Plan to try it out on 26th for local costume party.. Hope to have suit finished, and pack lights installed.. It would great to have an Irish convention, even as a spin off to toys4bigboys in Rds.

Thanks for the heads up on this thread Gerry, nice to meet some fellow Irish Ghostheads.
Good photo Murph, you should have asked Ernie how he looks so damn good for his age.
Dublin ComicCon sounds interesting, might pay it a visit if I can find the time.
Im afraid I’m not as advanced as to have my own proton pack…not yet anyway!!! ![]()
Good to post with you lads, its an exciting time to be a GB fan.
I’m from Belfast but don’t consider myself British so Irish here
I also met Bill Murray when he was filming City of Ember wish I had some GB memorabillia with me that day.
Hi guys, just wondering if any of ye are trying to order the very cool DVD boxset - The Real Ghostbusters - from Timeline? I’m trying to get it for my hubby for Christmas (biggest fan ever!!) but if you don’t have an American credit card and postal address they’re not interested. Anyone found any way around this??
AJ, the admin of this site was offering the Time Life set for a brief period, but it hasn’t yet back in stock.
One of the methods for non US citizens to attain it was to try find a contact in the US who was willing to ship it to them, however I’m not aware of who would still be willing to do it that would be someone trustworthy.
I ordered it the other day through my girlfriends aunt who lives in the US. She is coming home at Xmas so I’m hoping to have it for then. I used her address and my Credit card, seemed to go through ok.
Guys, thanks for the help. I did try to use my credit card but it was asking for a US postal code so I gave up. I saw alright that this website was offering them for sale, hopefully the administrator will decide to sell some more!! I know well they’ll be on ebay once they are released but they’ll just go for crazy money!! Thanks again for the advice, appreciate it.
Hey Guys,
another new member here but a fan since the first movie came out!! I’ve been to Collectormania, London Film and Comic Con and a recent London Expo and I’ve seen some guys in fantastic GB outfits as well as some amazing Proton Packs. I’ve gotta admit, I would have no idea where to start on making one (I can barely hammer a nail into a wall!!). I see that Master Replicas are gonna produce PP’s in the autumn but going by the price of their other replicas, it’ll cost a fortune, probably well over a grand.
Anyway, good to be here. If any of you guys are prop makers, I’d love to hear from you. Any guidance will be very welcome!! ![]()
That’s got to be Andy and co, the GBUK Elite.
Another Ulsterman here, Belfast. Only just joined this site, been on gb.net since 2005 i think under SlimersPeanut
