Hey guys, I know there is a Baystate GB and there’s GBNH, but I was wondering if there’s any fellow ghostheads looking to start a group in Connecticut. If it wasn’t for the drive, I’d join either of the previously mentioned groups.
I am. North haven here.
I actually work in Rocky Hill and work in New Haven. Do you know of anyone else that’d be interested too?
My friends think im nuts. This forum is my only hope. Lol. I used to sweat dinosaur state park when I was younger. That’s the extent of my rocky hill knowlesge
Yeah, same here. They “like” Ghostbusters, but nothing like we do. Do you have any pack builds or anything?
I spent the past year and a half building mine while creeping around these forums and learning as much as possible and making a pretty damn accurate gb1 pack. It’s always a work in progress. Unfortunately I was too lazy to make a build thread so nothing on this site.
I have one pack myself. Its a blend of Gb 1&2, but it looks more like a GB 1 pack with all the scuff marks I painted on. I’m working on a much upgraded pack now. Fiberglass shell, aluminum thrower, etc.
Im in East Hartford.
Rocky Hill over here
Meriden here! I’m currently building my first pack and would be interested in joining the Ct group but I have nothing to show yet. ![]()

I’m building a pretty good collection myself. I still have a few things left to get, but I’m gettin there. I work down in New Haven, so I drive by Meridan on my way in.
I’m getting the costume done first. Still getting pieces for the pack still. Unfortunately it’s not good weather for spray painting so I will probably have to wait for the spring to really go full speed ahead on my pack.
Yeah I’m waiting for all my aluminum parts orders to come in, so I’m not planning on painting anything until the spring. I’m also in the process of building a Containment Unit. Things huge
Oh my God a containment unit! Thats awesome!
Yessir. With movie accurate lights and sounds.
Are you gonna attach it to a wall or are you going to make it portable?
It’s too heavy to be portable. I currently live in an apt, so it’ll be leaning up against a wall until I get a house so I can bolt/screw it to a wall.
It could be a fun venture. Im down in bpt and just recently started a pack build
We should all get together sometime after the holidays and grab some drinks
Sounds good!
