That’s terrible news apannos!! I was wondering who this was going to happen to first. It was bound to happen to SOMEONE. You should try the towel trick just to get some time to play it before you send it to get repaired.(assuming it’s still under warranty)

Sorry to hear about the bad news man. That really sucks. I just like to note that this is why I decided to buy the PS3 to paly the game. It barely has any technical problems.

Why? He already got the RROD & for a gamer that’s worse than herpes (Especially after receiving the early copy of the game he’s been waiting years for)… Think it could be karma for supporting a company that broke the “street date”? hahahaha 
i thought the game was out 19th not 16th
nope, it’s out on June 16th. and that’s in stores ready to buy, not the day that it ships out.
I could be wrong, but I think I remember it being the 19th outside of the United States. I live in the United States, so I don’t know for sure, but I thought I remembered hearing that.
For everyone in the PAL format territories (Europe, australia, etc) the PS3 & PS2 versions are being released on the 19th. (With the xbox 360, DS, & Wii versions coming later this year.) In the U.s. all platforms are releasing simultaneously on the 16th. (With the exception of those places that are already selling it at the risk of {i would imagine{ legal action from Atari.)
