is it okay to get the game now that we know abou the new DDL Steam… and doesnt it get released next tuesday? Or is it out today
Steam version is out today.
so that means its in stores right? i live in canada. and is it for all the PC versions or just a few? If it is how can you tell if the PC has steam?
steam is a website/web service for downloading games, it doesnt come installed on pcs - as far as the pc version being in stores, I checked walmart yesterday and they had all the console versions but no copies of the pc game - i also went to movie gallery because i had special ordered it, but they also got all the console games and no pc copies, i wish i knew if the pc version was being delayed or if both places just happened not to get any in…
I also just checked ebay, and they only have several copies of the PC version - but amazon.com has it for $27.99 marked down from $29.99, I guess this is how I’ll be buying it.

I preordered mine and got it yesterday but the messed up thing is that i have to up date something on my computer first. So i am just going to find the game at Blockbuster for the ps3 with my roommate have.
Why is that messed up?

Gamestop has it, or at least mine did. If all you are looking for is the story mode of the game and you don’t have a next gen system this works out just fine. The controls are pretty good and the graphics look amazing, of course I have a 1 gig video card so they better look good. I’m not sure if the PC version is lacing anything other than multiplayer though. It seems like either levels were switched around between the final copy of the script and now or the cutscenes were reordered. After defeating the chairman the Mayor talks about his parade being ruined, but I haven’t gotten to the parade part. Also sometimes things seem a little disjointed. Could just be how they edited the game together.
Anyway, it runs perfectly fine on my PC. I don’t know what problems other people are having. Of course the Sims 3 runs fine on my PC as well and lots of people are having issues with that one.
