But xbox live is going to be down all day tomorrow
probably starting at midnight. :sigh:
I got my copy last Friday and played all through the weekend and let me tell you its definitely worth the wait. The game plays great. The story is awesome (and it totally ties into gb1 the most and a little to gb2) except for the romantic relationship they try between Venkman and the new Alyssa character. There are a few minor things that bother me with the game and there bearable, but I totally agree with the solid 8 that game informer gave it. I played on the medium difficulty first and if your exploring trying to find all the artifacts and scan all the ghosts for Tobin’s it took me about 10 to 12 hours (lost track of time don’t remember when I stopped I was so tired lol) to get through it and i still didn’t find everything so there is plenty of gameplay. I have put about 24 hours into the game so far trying to get all the offline achievements, finding the artifacts, scanning all the ghosts and im working through it on the hardest difficulty right now, its pretty challenging. And I haven’t even played anything on multiplayer yet
If anyone needs help with achievements or anything let me know you can pm me here or message me on XBL gamertag: libtechinit

only one thing i need to know: will they explain where the hell is Dana and why Peter fall in love with Ilyssa?
tell me only “yes” or “no” ![]()
the kinda explain Louis with a note on his desk, but a big no to the other questions. That’s was what I was saying about the relationship between Pete and Alyssa, its really forced The game would have been just as good if not better if they kept Alyssa as a character but left out the relationship part.
I got mine as well, just finished it a few minutes ago on expierenced. ![]()
What a game !!!
Can you play multiplayer on an offline network with multiple systems..
or do you have to be on live to play multiplayer?
From what i’ve heard so far there is no console-based multiplayer. (i.e. split screen or system link.) :sigh:
Only 1 hour & 5 minutes left of my work day. I’m bored, so I’ll bore the rest of you with my schedule for this evening.
• 5-5:15pm - Stop by liquor store and pick up some Miller Light.
• 5:15-6pm - Get home, change and clean house (house has got to be clean before I begin the festivities. yes, I’m weird like that).
• 6-9pm - watch Ghostbusters 1 & 2
• 9-10pm - walk dogs
• 10pm - I’ll probably be bored at this point, so I’ll designate this period as the beginning of “MILLER-TIME!”
• 10-11:45p.m. - Enjoy a few beers, watch a bit of tv, surf gbfans.com
• 11:45-12:30am - “Ride” with brother to gamestop, pick up game, go home
• 12:30am - ??? - bust some heads
So it’s 11:25p.m. where I’m at, and we’re experiencing HUGE thunderstorms. My electricity has already gone out once. The storm is suppose to break right about the time I head up to gamestop for the midnight release; but now the local meteorologist is saying we’re suppose to receive an additional 6" of rain on top of the shit-ton of rain we just received.. I’m hop’n my electricity stay’s run’n.
Got mine! Just put it in.. this thing has way too many splash screens.
Got mine. Now back to TF2.
My GF and I were just at Meijer, and there it was, sitting in the glass game case. It was all I could do to, keep from buying it on the spot, but I figured that at least I get a T-Shirt/GB 2 suit. DAMN PRE-ORDER INCENTIVES, DAMN THEM!!!
But it’s all good, cause’ I’ll be up, bright and early, to pick it up from GS. ![]()
I did however, get the Blu-Ray, so I guess I can’t complain.
TF2 is awesome
Got my Wii version at Walmart at midnight… off to GameStop in about an hour to pick up my PS3 version… can’t wait. I’m off work the next 2 days, lots of playing to do!
I hope those of you with the pc version will be posting highres screenshots somewhere on gbfans - I would but I havent picked up my copy yet because I need a new pc first
Well I picked up the Wii version along with the Blu ray this morning to tide me over for the my 360 Slimer Edition. I’m getting a little antsy because it hasn’t shipped yet. Anyone else waiting for their Amazon order to ship?
While waiting for my copies of the 360 and PC versions to arrive from Play-Asia.com, my local indy game store has come up with the goods again and informed me yesterday that he had a few imported copies of the Wii version to sell.
It easily tying me over until the other 2 versions arrive which might be late as next week I have found out today! Seem Play-Asia.com is going off the PAL Region release date and are listing the game now as released on the 19th.
Anyone that can’t get anything other than the Wii/PS2 version, do not worry, you will not be disapointed!
I drove over to Movie Gallery on my lunch break to pick up my pre-ordered (well, I only put $5 down, back in Feb) copy of Ghostbusters TVG for the PC, and surprise surprise, it didnt come in! they got all the copies for the PS3, XBOX360, PS2, and WII but no PC copies… so I told em to ■■■■ off and then I burned down the store. actually I politely told them to deduct the $5 from my $13 late fee from some dvds I brought back 3 days late last month, and that I would pick up the game somewhere else - meanwhile its going on 1pm and Im supposed to be back at work, but I decide to go to Walmart and get my copy there, figuring “of course they’ll have it, it’s Walmart”… well GUESS WHAT?! they didnt have it either! HAHALOL but I went around and checked all the other display cases and it came in for all the other platforms - so I see the Prima strategy guide and decide to buy it since Im already here - I go over to the checkout in the electronics section to pay for the guide and politely ask if they got any of the GB games in for the computer, and this white trash ■■■■■ employee says “if its not out there, we didnt get it” - so I told her to ■■■■ off and I politely burned down the Walmart… I suppose it doesnt matter, I probably wouldnt play it until I got a new PC as my Dell is about 4-5 years old and the video card is about 3 years old - so all I have is the strategy guide and my broken dreams…
speaking of the PC version, is an internet connection required for any kind of registration or dvd checking or anything? I dont have the net at my house and I dont really want to bring my computer to work or to my sisters just for that
I got my copy today and im almost finished with it!
I just beat the 360 version on experienced. I liked the game but I’m a little confused about the storyline.
