Hey guys and gals I need some help. My friends and I are starting a paintball group called the Deminions of Gozer(D.O.G.). We are getting patches made from that picture of the keymaster in the hallway(the Dog). We are also going to take names based on any and all deminons of servants of Gozer. For example so far we have Vinz Clortho, Zuul, Ivo SHandor, Slimer, and a few more from the movie. What I am asking you folks is if there is any other fictional transcripts or anything that would name more minions or servents of Gozer, outside the movie most likely. Thanks.

The Ghostbusters International supplement Tobin’s Spirit Guide created a couple of Ivo Shandor’s predecessors:
Hawthorne Bent, who founded a Gozer cult at Alnwick School in 1871 (in England). He summoned Vinz Clortho in 1878, Vinz posessed a horse, asked “Where is the Gatekeeper”, and the class smartass at the adacemy used ventriloquism to have Bent himself answer “I am.” Bent was last seen being chased by the posessed horse; it’s best not to think what happened if Vinz actually caught him and tried to perform the summoning ritual…
They also mention Dr. Micheal Zhorchev, a Serbian surgeon who delivered an incidiary speech in Vienna in 1899. His speech was about humanity being “too sick to survive” and about performing “unneccessary surgeries”. He was hanged once the Austrian authorities discovered he’d already performed some of his surgeries. His ideas survived, however, in the form of his disciple, Ivo Shandor…
There was a “Horg the Gozerian” in the Marvel UK RGB comic (issue #128) who looked like what I could only describe as a Scottish Redneck. I’m not kidding. But then again, this is also the comic that suggested Slimer’s origin was as a gluttonous king named Remils who died from eating himself to death. So the less said about anything in this paragraph the better… :boogieman:
After that, you’re pretty much down to fan fic characters. For example, the soon-to-finally-be-finished Chronicles of Gozer, there’s a cult of black-garbed evil wizards led by the “Herald of Gozer”.
Actually what I meant was I know that they refer to them as minions in the movie, but our group is going to be under the dominion of Gozer. So were kind of adding to the legend. Gozer has his lands and/or large group of servants which would be called his domain or dominion.

Wouldn’t it be the Dominion of Gozer, rather than Dominions? I think a dominion is like a colony of people, not an individual. Also, I don’t believe Slimer was a subordinate of Gozer. On a side note, I have an Automag that’s been for sale forever if anyone in your group is looking for a gun…
