vigo is scary as hell but he can also be funny as hell! like here:

Where Vigo, “A very powerful magician”, is just that. He can possess people, which is a plus I guess.
Also, Gozer’s Lackey(s) Zuul and Vinz are so much better than Vigo’s Lackey, Janosz.
SO… Gozer > Vigo.

Final Scenes for both films. The Ghostbusters had to go out on a limb, breaking their cardinal rule, to defeat Gozer knowing they probably wouldnt survive the ordeal. Where in Vigo’s case, Ol boy was weakened by the “good of NY” (really??? smh), then slimed and proton streamed into oblivion.

Gozer is just the freaking best! She is so creepy and you can’t beat a demi-god. I love Vigo but I think the lack of an epic display of power in the end of GB2 is the only thing holding it back from being as good as the original.
I don’t know, his ability to paralyze the Ghostbusters was a bit epic considering he could have easily dispatched of them while they were down for the count.
I always imagined that Gozer was far more powerful, that Vigo, despite having immense power himself, was limited in that he was still a human born sorcerer whereas Gozer was simply an old style traditional deity from ancient Mesopotamia, with the ability to travel between dimensions and worlds.
That isn’t to say that Vigo wasn’t terrifying. Possession is something too freaky for me, and if they had made GB2 any darker I think they would hav made Janosz do some “Exorcist” style stuff.
I found Vigo much more terrifying! Think that was a big reason I liked GB2 better! Maybe its just me I don’t know!
Nah gozer is a homosexual, who had his sex changed and she/he doesn’t even look scary… Prince Vigo, the scourge of Carpathia the sorrow of Moldavia, scared a shit out of me, when i was litte. He was also a living god. Rember when Janosz mentioned to Dana, that there are many perks, being a mother of a living god, when she was locked behind the iron doors in the museum.
And again, Vigo is not an ordinary person, before the people of his rule kild him, he said that: death is but a door, time is but a window, i’ll be back!
Anyways, i prefer GH2 more than 1. There are more action and legendary scenes, and not as boring as GH1.
And the logo is a lot better at the GH2 at least for me

Vigo was really kind of a sissy and gozer as said is a god so if vigo was better “gozer” would simply become vigo and destroy him. I also feel that them working together would be very cool Gozer the leader and Vigo Gozers well B@#$

Ditto, it seemed like Vigo had a lot more potential and ‘what is he gonna do’ was a bit more unpredictable. Yes, Gozer could possess people via the Terror Dogs and shapeshift, but Vigo had the potential to control the whole city if he wanted to.
