Hello all! I’ve been lurking for a few days now but figured I’d go ahead and introduce myself. Most of my fellow costumers call me Foley. I’m from the Macon, GA area and, like most people here, a GB fan since childhood.
I am part of the 21st Infantry COBRA costuming group, and as a smaller group project several of us are working on getting GB costumes together for this year’s DragonCon and beyond. I’m currently working on my pack and as soon as I think I’ve got my mind wrapped around it a little better I’ll post some progress pics.

I’m moving to Macon in August myself.
Very cool (well, not ‘cool’ so much…especially in August). I lived in Macon for 25 years or so and live in Byron now, about 15 minutes south of Macon proper.
welcome! Ok, so it is “COBRA” as in Gi Joe, or something different? How many are in your group? We have 5 GB’s and 2 trainees and one member on indefinite sabbatical.
Yes, COBRA as in the bad guys from GI Joe. The main group is probably about 30ish people at this point. There are 5 of us working on GB costumes at the moment. Our website is www.cobracares.com if you’re interested in looking around.
