Greetings from NE Ohio!

Hi there, name is Jim. I have been a fan of Ghostbusters since I was a kid. A friend got me into the idea of Ghostbuster costuming, and um, yeah!

Have a GB costume made up. Made my pack from a kit I bought. It isn’t completely finished, some of the fittings are mixed up or said ot be incorrect. Also, haven’t added the correct mount for the wand.

As far as the actual suit, I have gloves that I need to get rid of the writing on, and need to get a more accurate set of boots. I don’t have the yellow tube yet, or the belt gizmo. The belt I have been told needs to be more greyish, just haven’t got to the point of that yet…

Also, have made a pair of traps myself, don’t have any pics of that atm however.

Hi Iggy,

I’m new here too. I think your GB costume looks AWESOME. Good work. There’s always more tweaking to be done to any costume but that’s just part of the fun in building it. Thanks for sharing this. I’d be interested to know how long it took you to build the kit and put this together.

Well, believe it or not…it only took me about…10-12 hours worth of work to build spread over about a weeks time. I am a madman when it comes to working on props. If I put the effort into it, I can get things done relatively fast.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome from the Real Ohio Ghostbusters!!!

Welcome!

That’s a pretty nice looking Pack!

I have to weather it still. Plus, I am looking to upgrade the lights. I have a decent setup, they’re these little colored LED flashlights that are nice and bright. Pretty much set to where they are screwed into the cylon light sockets. However, I have to manually set them to blink in order, and for a strange reason, they only stay on for about 30-45 minutes. Not because the batteries are bad, they seem to be timed to stay on for about that long. Same thing is used for the power bar section, but doesn’t look as good. I saw Exorays, just seeing if he has any available for me to upgrade to.

Welcome from a fellow Ohioan!
